Start Sharing an application
You can share your application with your end-users in different ways:
- Most simply: by sharing it as a link
- To go further: by sharing it as an iFrame embedded in a webpage
- For a customized experience – Developers Team needed: by sharing it as an iFrame embedded in a webpage that uses Furioos SDK.
The SDK usage enables your developers team to customize your application’s player and to create interaction between the HTML webpage where your application is embedded and the application itself. Share our SDK Documentation with your Developers Team to learn more about it.
To start creating and managing an application’ sharing options:
- Click on the “Share” button displayed on your application page.
Then you will access the Share Manager and will be able to:
- Navigate through the different types of sharing options available (link, iFrame, SDK)
- Generate a new Link
- Give a name to your link to help you identifying them when you have many
- Share your application by copying and pasting the automatically generated link (click on the icon)
- Monitor your sharing monthly quota state (if a quota has been set – see below)
- Get your link password (if a password security has been set – see below)
- See the date your link was created
- Edit your sharing settings options
- Delete your link
Important note:
We recently have improved our share links security, by reinforcing their url and password. Thus, as from the Share Manager Update Release, that happened on the 23rd of February, all links generated from our deprecated system will not be editable anymore but will still be supported (users having the password will still be able to access the application).
As soon as possible, you will need to delete the link and generate a new one with our more secure Share Manager version to access the edits and its new options.
1. When you are ready, click on the orange warning icon displayed on your deprecated links and proceed to the link deletion before generating new links.

General settings
- Set a name for your share link (mandatory)
Session settings
- Activate the toggle to set a maximum session duration in minutes. By default, the session duration is unlimited (toggle deactivated and gray colored). E.g: if you have set a 10 minutes maximum session time, your users will not be able to stream your application for more than 10 minutes.
- Activate the toggle to set a monthly quota usage in minutes. By default, there is no monthly quota set on your sharing (toggle deactivated and gray colored). E.g: if you have set a 60 minutes monthly quota, your users – all users combined – will not be able to stream your application for more than 60 minutes total. This could mean 6 users could stream your applications for 10 minutes each before the 60 minutes monthly quota is filled. The Quota will be reinitialized each month and, if needed, you can edit this quota amount anytime.
Restrictions
- Activate the toggle to set a password protection on your sharing link. This means your users will need to enter the password in order to access your application stream. By default, no password protection is set on your sharing (toggle deactivated and gray colored).
